Job Summary Working as an Executive Chef, you are responsible for overseeing all culinary functions for a dining account.

You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee all safety and sanitation as it pertains to the account. Additionally, as part of the culinary team, you will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account Plans and creates all menus Purchases and manages inventory Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

Culinary degree preferred Three to five years of culinary management experience High volume production and catering experience is essential Previous experience managing cost controls Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company

Culinary Skills and Experience

Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience: Formal training at a culinary school or extensive on-the-job experience. Formal culinary training or equivalent extensive professional experience. Knowledge or experience with diverse cuisines to reflect global trends or corporate diversity. *

Proven Track Record: Experience in leading kitchens, preferably in a multi-unit or high-volume operation. *

Menu Development: Expertise in creating diverse, innovative, and nutritionally balanced menus tailored to client preferences. *

Food Safety Certifications: Knowledge of HACCP, ServSafe certification, or similar.

Management and Leadership

Team Leadership: Ability to recruit, train, and manage large teams of chefs and kitchen staff across multiple locations. *

Multi-Unit Management: Experience overseeing multiple sites, ensuring consistency in food quality and service standards. *

Conflict Resolution: Skills to handle interpersonal and operational challenges effectively. Fostering a positive work environment. *

Mentorship: Developing staff and fostering growth within the organization.

Operational Expertise

Budget Management: Ability to manage costs, including labor, food, and operational expenses. *

Inventory and Supply Chain: Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory control, and vendor relations. *

Process Optimization: Ability to implement and improve systems for efficiency across units.
