Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting specimens according to established procedures. This includes drug screens, blood samples, and processing pathology and cytology samples. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate data entry, handling billing information, and maintaining all appropriate logs and documentation.
Responsibilities
* Collect specimens including drug screens, blood samples, and pathology and cytology samples.
* Research test/client information and verify all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems or directory of services.
* Complete all data entry requirements accurately, including patient registration and test order entries.
* Enter billing information and collect payments when required, safeguarding assets and credit card information.
* Process specimens by labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required by the test.
* Perform clerical duties such as data entry, inventory, stocking supplies, and answering phones.
* Verify patient demographic information and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure accurate labeling.
* Maintain phlebotomy logs, including maintenance and temperature logs, in a timely manner.
* Complete training courses and stay up-to-date with the latest phlebotomy techniques.
* Stay informed on company communications and updates.

Work Environment
This position requires extensive travel between nursing and assisted living homes. Work hours are Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6 AM when needed, with most days around 7 AM and ending by 4:30 PM. There is also a Saturday rotation every 5th or 6th week for pickups from 8 AM to 3 PM. The role includes facilities and home draws, a car allowance of $250.00 per month, a gas card, and full benefits. Locations include Spartanburg and Beaufort.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31200.00 - $41600.00
All full-time employee working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits. As a new hire, you are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Additionally, you may enroll during your annual Open Enrollment period for an April 1st effective date.

* Unmarried children of any age if disabled and claimed as a dependent on your federal income taxes

You may enroll your legal spouse in Life, Critical Illness/Accident and LegalShield/IDShield benefits without affidavit.
