Job Summary
Aptive is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) operations. This role is vital to addressing a critical shortage of Non-Clinical and Program Support personnel within the CMOP. The Administrative Assistant will perform a range of administrative and program support duties, including preparing reports, coordinating meetings, data entry, and document proofreading. The selected candidate will contribute to efficient operation of CMOP processes, ensuring timely and accurate support for ongoing pharmacy operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding Aptive's standards of excellence in serving VA and its mission to support Veterans.
Location: 2962 South Longhorn Drive, Lancaster, TX 75134
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday through Friday
Compensation: $36.05 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepares reports and other program documentation
- Prepares graphics presentations, plans, and coordinates meetings/conferences
- Performs data entry, filing, and reproduction
- Applies familiarity with specialized and technical terminology to proofread and edit documents
- High School (HS) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Six years of experience directly related to administrative roles
- Must be able to understand how to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Have basic typing and PC computer skills
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently in compliance with U.S. federal requirements for this position (U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d))
