We are looking for an organized Warehouse Clerk to oversee the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our hardware division warehouse. The Warehouse Clerk will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the movement of goods within the warehouse. This includes receiving shipments, checking inventory, preparing goods for shipment, and ensuring timely delivery. The role involves maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and managing logistics to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Record and track inventory levels to ensure accurate stock.
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinate the transportation and movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in handling goods.
• Assist with organizing warehouse space for efficient storage and distribution.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
