Job Posting: Equipment Operator I
Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Equipment Operator I to ensure the safe and efficient operation of automated assembly machines. This role involves responding to machine faults, performing infrequent adjustments to stations and fixtures, and completing simple, repetitive tasks related to machine operation. The Equipment Operator I is also responsible for ensuring that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
Read and understand standard operating procedures.
Safely operate equipment in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Start machines from a power-off state.
Perform work order set-ups in electronic batch records, data acquisition, and inventory management systems.
Operate machines, jigs, and fixtures to produce high-quality products at established run rates.
Read and interpret gauges and dials as required on equipment.
Troubleshoot and rectify machine faults and restart machines.
Complete production records and work order documentation as needed.
Inspect or test products to ensure quality standards are met.
Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
Quickly learn to operate simple machines with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple simple machines, including press and torque fitments with fewer than 10 stations and minimal alignments.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer systems preferred.
Ability to read and understand procedures clearly.

Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Use of solvents, glue, or solder may be required.
Must be able to perform visual inspections with and without magnification tools.
Regularly required to talk and hear in the course of duties.
Work is performed in a clean room environment.
Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.
Ability to repetitively move and lift objects up to 20 lbs.
