Ashford Trust is focused on investing predominately in upper upscale, full-service hotels. Braemar's strategy is to invest in luxury hotels and resorts. Combined, Ashford Trust and Braemar Hotels & Resorts currently own 121 hotels with more than 27,000 rooms and have approximately $7.5 billion in gross assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs complex administrative duties, with exposure to highly confidential matters and information
  • Serves as the liaison between the President & COO and departments within Ashford and our affiliate companies
  • Heavy executive calendar management, coordination of business meetings, reporting, scheduling and daily timekeeping
  • Makes travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels and car reservations; experience with Costco Travel for obtaining travel quotes, is a plus
  • Creates and modifies Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
  • Drafting and editing outgoing emails and memos, on behalf of President & COO
  • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing records
  • Other administrative duties and projects as assigned
  • Tracks expenses and prepares expense reports
  • May be required to assist with personal tasks as well
  • 5+ years of administrative experience, to include experience supporting C-Suite Executives.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task and ask for clarification when needed
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize a daily workload based on priorities
