We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Production Operators to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing environment. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient production processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet quality and output goals.
- Perform routine quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products for packaging or storage.
- Adjust machine settings and controls to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or product defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation for quality and inventory tracking.
- Assist with machine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S standards and process improvements.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and grow within the role.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
- Physical capability to lift and move materials up to [Insert Weight Limit].
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Basic math and computer skills for recording production data.
- Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including overtime as needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
