About the job Production Operator

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Production Operators to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing environment. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient production processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet quality and output goals.
  • Perform routine quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
  • Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products for packaging or storage.
  • Adjust machine settings and controls to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or product defects promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and documentation for quality and inventory tracking.
  • Assist with machine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S standards and process improvements.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and grow within the role.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
  • Physical capability to lift and move materials up to [Insert Weight Limit].
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Basic math and computer skills for recording production data.
  • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
