Job Summary: We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to transport materials, goods, and products within our warehouse or distribution facility. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with precision and care.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and tracking stock.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
