Special Education Teacher (SPED) Kenosha, WI

Are you passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs thrive? Were seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year to work with an elementary caseload in Kenosha, WI. Join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students!

Position Details:

• Location: On-site in Kenosha, WI
• Caseload: Elementary, K-12 students (18-25 students)
• Disability Type: Cross Categorical
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (40 hours on-site with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Daily Hours: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 10, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction in small group and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
• Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with cross-categorical caseloads preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
