Job Summary As Sr. Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing timely and actionable data-driven insights to maximize business performance and achieve exceptional results. This role will provide expertise in the following areas of the business: Performance Reporting and Dashboarding to support the Retail portfolios Critical deep-dive analytical support for optimizing customer lifecycle value Mentor and guide junior analyst/s Job Description Key Accountabilities ·Responsible for implementation of business intelligence initiatives; play a crucial role in identifying profitable growth opportunities and in optimizing portfolio performance ·Own / Develop / Deliver dashboards, data models and other BI solutions by utilizing Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data analytics and Tableau, Excel, and PowerBI for data visualization ·Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide meaningful and actionable recommendations to support various business functions (Pricing, Portfolio Management, Finance, Marketing and Customer Experience channels) ·Lead in-depth analysis of portfolio performance and uncover root causes for trends in channel gains, portfolio and customer lifecycle losses, transactional margin performance, portfolio and product mix outcomes, etc. ·Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in BI ·Provide thought leadership and mentorship to team-members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and collaboration Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements ·Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years (or Master's with 3+ years, or equivalent 8+ years) of professional experience in data analysis or a related field ·Extensive experience in analyzing large volumes of data using Python, SQL, SAS, R or similar programming languages ·Experience using PowerBI or Tableau for data visualization ·Web analytics experience with working knowledge of web analytics tools such as Adobe or Google Analytics desirable ·Solid understanding of portfolio management concepts, financial modeling and investment analysis ·Strong analytical skills coupled with ability to think strategically ·Ability to derive insights from complex data for decision-making Key Metrics Proactive in terms of learning the business and designing valuable dashboards / ad-hoc data analyses On-time production of analyses and results of the highest integrity and quality Development of clear, concise, and effective executive-level reporting and presentations Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver quality results, while managing a diverse range of project Job Family Marketing Company TXU Retail Services Company Locations Irving, Texas Texas We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
