Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Data Analyst 3 with a Secret Clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Analyzes and interprets data from multiple disparate sources and builds visualizations and dashboards to report insights.
  • Gather, clean, and organize new data from multiple sources to create a structured dataset for analysis.
  • Utilize statistical and data analysis tools to extract insights and identify trends within the data.
  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies to improve lending processes and decision-making.
  • Create clear and visually engaging reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, risk management, and IT to align data analytics with business objectives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and data security in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum 6 years of Data Analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the following areas: conducting queries and developing algorithms to analyze data structures; generating queries and reports; identifying data patterns/relationships; statistics and associated techniques; use of data analysis tools and writing scripts.
  • Demonstrated communications skills to interface with all levels of management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to include approachability, effective listening, and appropriate use of style and language for the audience.
  • Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Knowledge of cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environments and the difference between on-premises and off-premises environments.
  • Secret Clearance required.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum required certifications: IAT II

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
