Manager of Event Delivery Job at Villa Bellezza Winery in Pepin

Salary: $25 to $35 per hour

Villa Bellezza is seeking a Manager of Event Delivery. We are an award-winning winery and event center located in Pepin, Wisconsin. Villa Bellezza offers our customers a unique Italian wine & food experience. We host both private and public events.

Our event facilities include

• Indoor event center seating 300
• Covered outdoor pavilion seating 300 with Tuscan columns
• Private dining room and bar where guests see our wine storage vats
• Outdoor private dining spaces
• Il Circolo Club room

We host large wedding receptions, intimate weddings, wedding ceremonies, day-after brunches, family celebrations, company recognition events, and community events. In addition, we host Villa Bellezza events including our very popular Christmas Market, monthly wine club events in our Il Circolo Club Room, Festa della Donna, and Carnivale.

We cater food for dinners up to 100 and use outside caterers for larger events.We provide beverage service including wine, beer, and mixed drinks for events.In addition, we grow grapes, make and sell wine, operate a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating for over 250 and offer cooking classes.

Objective and Job Responsibilities

The objective is to assure that Villa Bellezza provides great experiences for our guests.

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include the following:

• Staffing and staff training.
• Developing Procedures
• Scheduling servers, bartenders, and cleaning service

• Assuring the quality of delivery of events
• Manage cleaning and setup for the subsequent event
  
• Participate in planning meetings for weddings

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 3-5 years experience in managing delivery of events
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Bachelors degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
• Experience in using event management software
• Demonstrated ability to develop and retain key staff
