Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (CIVILIAN HARM MITIGATION AND RESONSE), G-5 DIVISION in the MARFORPAC of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will support and advise on all on the aspects analysis in the development of the Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response program. You will assess internal and force level processes in order to ensure operating forces civilian harm mitigation plans meet force level requirements. You will take action when planning and conducting military operations by assessing and analyzing the operational environment that may be at risk. You will review, assess, and investigate to understand why the civilian harm resulted from military operations. You will review and assist with command policies and directives that impact the program. You will deal professionally with U.S. government, private industry, and foreign government personnel. You will efficiently collect, update, analyze, and report on high volume, complex, unstructured information using spreadsheets and other types of software and technology. You will provide oral and written communication by prepare briefings, presentations, and decisions to support deliberations and decisions by senior leadership. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: in operational planning, political and military policy, security cooperation, National and Service plans, command relationships, and componency. Relocation (PCS) reimbursement MAY be considered. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
