We are urgently hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer to come and work for this industry leader in the design of engineered products for the aerospace industry in Spokane Valley, WA! This role will lead manufacturing improvement projects, focusing on mechatronic equipment development, processes, tooling, automation, and Lean methods. Additionally, the position will be responsible for developing manufacturing instructions and equipment to support customer requirements and production needs. Provide technical support to manufacturing, aiming to improve productivity and reduce costs. Prepare manufacturing methods and work instructions to document manufacturing requirements. Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency. Develop and incorporate Best Practices into methods and work instructions. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and proper use of equipment. Interface with production planning and sales to ensure schedules and obligations are met. Perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences, balance workload, or address peak work periods. Limited supervisory role: Provide engineering guidance to production teams. Qualifications of the Manufacturing Engineer Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience. 2 to 4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. Or 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, in lieu of an engineering degree. Strong mechanical, electrical, and general engineering problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in MS Excel, database development, process flow software, and CAD (Onshape / SolidWorks). Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new hardware/software applications. Ability to write clear and concise reports. Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing). Ability to interpret and communicate engineering plans and specifications. Sound understanding of engineering theory, design verification, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, machining, and quality production methods. Interested? Let's talk!!
