LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stamping, tool and die, and fixture design. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop stamping processes, tools, dies, and fixtures to meet production requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to stamping, tooling, and fixtures.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including CAD drawings, process flow diagrams, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Train and support production staff on the use of new tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in stamping, tool and die, and fixture design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
