The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and screening patient medication records and profiles for allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications while entering orders and/or verifying medications. They will also identify and report suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare and dispense intravenous admixture solutions using aseptic technique in an accepted sterile product preparation area. Organize daily operational duties and assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy aides, student interns, and other ancillary personnel involved in providing pharmaceutical care. Requirements
B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) from an accredited school of pharmacy required. 3-6 months hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Previous experience or familiarity with investigational drug control procedures and protocol design preferred. This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
