Rosario Cabinets is back! We are excited to be launching a brand new, state of the art cabinet manufacturing shop in Dedham, MA. We have been busy building out the facility, customizing the software and we are ready to hire some GREAT talent to bring it to life!

We have opportunity for both senior operator as well as machine operator and assembly. We are open to training the right candidate with a drive to succeed and committed to producing quality products. We will operate one shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday. All roles are full-time and qualify for benefits.

As a Senior Operator will be responsible for the operations of the manufacturing line and production of products. Tasks will include reading and interpreting shop drawings, prepping products for finish, i.e., sanding, masking off, scuffing, etc. Priming, mixing custom stain blends, finish painting, using numerous different finish products and lines. Cleaning and maintaining finish shop and finish shop equipment. Being a team player is an integral part of this role. you are a critical component of the final stage of production for our products.


Daily responsibilities to include:

  • Able to measure accurately, understanding of measurements
  • Dexterity and able to use job-related tools including but not limited to all hand tools, nail guns, miter and table saw operation
  • Assemble cabinets per instructions and package cabinets for delivery
  • Inspection and verification of quality of work prior to being staged for customer deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and re-stock any consumables materials needed
  • Responsible for accuracy of material being assembled. Must verify quantity, type, color, etc. against customer order.
Requirements:

To be successful in these manufacturing roles, you will have/be able to:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure smooth line progression
  • Demonstrate good time management to keep up with the flow of the cutting machines
  • Able to meet production in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented -
  • A good understanding of woodworking and manufacturing processes
  • To work with dexterity and have high level of hand-eye coordination as to be able to work with small parts and tools with precision.
  • Love to be a puzzle maker - work with a high level of attention to detail to ensure that cabinets are assembled correctly and meet customer specifications.
  • Experience and able to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently; including tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, nail guns and drills.
  • To measure and cut materials precisely, and to assemble cabinets using small parts and components.
  • To work independently to complete tasks, but they also need to be able to work collaboratively with other team members to assemble cabinets quickly and efficiently.
  • Able to read and write in English

Ideally, you will have:

  • 2 years experience working in a cabinet manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience with finishing preparation
  • Experience with architectural millwork and cabinetry
  • Experience with wood repair and touch up

This job is physically demanding, so can you:

  • Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination to ensure that cabinets are assembled correctly.
  • Stand on a solid surface for a full shift (8 hrs)
  • Safely operate assembly equipment repeatedly
  • Walk, bend, stand on even and uneven surfaces
  • Demonstrate physical strength and stamina to be able to carry and lift and/or pull 50+ lbs. frequently during work shift
