Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Data Management for a Contract job with a client in Londonderry, NH. You will be responsible for planning, installing, and configuring databases, as well as collaborating with engineering, security, and IT teams to ensure database integrity and reliability.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $32/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Management job responsibilities include:

Planning, installing, configuring, and administering databases, ensuring optimal structure and performance.
Formulating and monitoring policies, procedures, and standards for effective database management.
Identifying, evaluating, and recommending relevant COTS software tools to enhance database performance.
Establishing and maintaining security and integrity controls for all database systems.
Monitoring database performance, tuning systems, and addressing performance bottlenecks.
Ensuring database reliability and availability, including overseeing upgrades and software installation.
Designing and developing custom software to provide essential functionality not covered by COTS solutions.
Collaborating with engineering, security, and IT teams to maintain the quality and integrity of databases and application software.
Contributing to systems and process improvements to enhance database operations.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in database administration and management.
Proficiency in database design, performance tuning, and security controls.
Experience with COTS software tools and custom software development for database functionality.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
