Manufacturing Controller
New opening with a Global, Publicly Traded Manufacturing & Distribution company overseeing all financial operations including general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial statement preparation, operational accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management), as well as Cost Accounting / Inventory.

Manufacturing Controller

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations and reporting
- Responsible for all Cost Accounting / Inventory, including coordination with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Manage the general ledger accounting and ensure accurate and timely financial statements
- Responsible for oversight of all accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collections
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and accounting standards, regulations, and laws
- Manage monthly and year-end closing of the books in a timely matter
- Research accounting issues for compliance
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Management of the ERP system (upgrades, reporting, implementations / integrations)
- Ad hoc projects as they arise
Requirements:
- Manufacturing / Tangible Product Industry highly preferred
- CPA highly preferred
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Experience managing all aspects of Accounting & Finance, including accounting operations, benefits, payroll, and partnering with CPA firm for taxes
- Ability to be a strategic business partner to leadership
