Lean Manufacturing Manager 31479 Location: Hiram, GA 30141 Position: Lean Manufacturing Manager Salary:  ~ $100k--$125k + full benefits Role Overview: As the Lean Manufacturing Manager, you will lead and design lean manufacturing goals and strategies to enhance operations and processes. You will manage continuous improvement activities, employing lean methodologies and tools to achieve business objectives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering. ~ 5+ years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing Lead role managing hourly and salaried employees. Green Belt in Six Sigma. Strong ISO experience and capability to prepare company for ISO certification. Strong leadership and communication skills. Preferred: Black Belt in Six Sigma. Career Advancement: Excelling in this role can lead to positions such as Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director of Quality. Key Responsibilities: Implement best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to improve operational performance. Review and communicate the impact of new business initiatives on Lean activities. Develop a robust continuous improvement plan with the Management Team and stakeholders. Drive business improvement and support organizational cultural change. Lead continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and engage employees. Facilitate Kaizen events and ensure improvements are sustained. Establish performance metrics for visibility and efficiency. Work with Operations and Facilities to support automation and single-piece flow. Optimize production cell layout and process flow to enhance productivity. Develop CAD layouts for facility and production cells. Support employee training program development and standardization of work. Enhance Kanban for efficient material flow through MRP engagement. Train and educate the workforce on Lean tools and concepts. Perform Industrial Engineering analysis and recommend process improvements.
