The Embassy Suites by Hilton Lubbock is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector. Housekeeping inspectors supervise housekeeping operations in the hotel. They perform a variety of duties from cleaning, inspecting, and training.
Responsibilities
•Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, carpets, drapes, and furniture for cleanliness, damage, stains, or wear
•Check and count linens and supplies, and record inspection results
•Make sure cleanliness conditions are met, and that cleaning personnel meet quality standards
•Report lost and found items, maintenance problems, or special room problems to a supervisor
•Adjust guests' complaints, communicate with other hotel departments, and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies
•Supervise team members, such as guest room attendants, housemen, and lobby attendants
•Prepare work orders and requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements
•Help with budget control by supervising employees' use of supplies, equipment, and linen, and perform cleaning duties as needed
Qualifications
Housekeeping inspectors should have expertise, leadership, good observational skills, decision-making, and time management.
