Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,090 per week

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Battle Creek, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 36 or 48 hour contracts available Must be available the entire week of orientation. Will float to other Med Surg units Will work every other weekend. Other Requirements: Must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs etc.) Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time Michigan RN License (pending license ok, must provide ETA) BLS (AHA) (will accept pending, please confirm willing to obtain) 2 Years Med/Surg Experience Preference. Minimum 1 year Required. Depending on the unit needs could be placed on the following units. We all see a good mix of medical patients and our specialties can be seen below ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, Surgical patients are GI, urology, hysterectomies, mastectomies. Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).
