In this rewarding opportunity, you will join the St Vincent's Health Australia Private Division team as an experienced Clinical Coder with the opportunity to work across our 10 private hospitals nationally. It's an exciting time to be joining SVHA with the soon to be introduced Meditech EMR. Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Accurate and timely coding of separations using ICD-10-AM, ACHI and the Australian Coding Standards as well as relevant state and national advice Liaise with relevant staff to obtain additional information required to perform accurate coding Be able to manage and prioritise own work Actively participate in education, training and quality activities. Critical to this role is a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and efficient time management skills.
