Position Title: Forklift Operator/Picker

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available
Pay: $15.00/hr

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR in Forklift Operator/Picker:

The Forklift Operator’s role involves loading, unloading, and picking customer orders. They are responsible for following safe work practices, using the inventory tracking system, upholding the company's core values, and providing excellent customer service. The right candidate will have a positive attitude and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities and Required Skills of Forklift Operator:

Efficiently pick orders to meet demand.
Operate forklift in accordance with safety standards.
When needed, package materials to prevent damage during shipment.
Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Move products from staging/storage areas to freight containers efficiently.
Keep company equipment and materials clean and organized.
Operate an RF Scan gun to maintain inventory counts.
Promote and practice safe work habits to ensure a safe working environment.
Focus on continuous learning for self and team to enhance skills and growth.
Show commitment to company’s core values.
Additional duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required as necessary.

Qualifications of Forklift Operator:

Forklift experience
Positive attitude
Basic computer skills
1-2 years of warehouse experience required
Ability to meet warehouse deadlines

Physical Requirements of Forklift Operator:

Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Capable of lifting objects (up to 50 lbs.) from one level to another, including upward pulling.
Proficient in using warehouse scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
Good eye-hand coordination and sense of balance.
Tolerance for varying temperatures within the warehouse environment.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, around machinery with moving parts and vehicles.
Capability to carry, push, and pull boxes and items up to 50 lbs.
