School Social Worker Needed for the 24/25 School Year in Oswego, IL!

Position: School Social Worker
Location:Oswego, IL
Start Date: October 7th
End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)
Hours: Full-time
Caseload: K-12th Grade Students | More details shared during interview with the district

At ProCare Therapy, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for our students. Our mission is to address the social and emotional needs of our diverse student population. We are seeking a passionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create comprehensive support plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and programs to promote mental health awareness and resilience.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall well-being of students.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Current license as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• Must have Professional Educator Licensure with a social work endorsement in Illinois!
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• This position is onsite only; remote work is not available.
• This Position would be a W-2 Contracted Position for the 24/25 School Year!
