Dental Hygienist Job at Princess Dental Staffing in Sandy

Our family practice in Sandy is hiring a registered dental hygienist 1-2 days per week (one day must be Friday). This person will be working with the dentist, patients, and coworkers. The ideal candidate has a warm and welcoming personality, is outgoing, detail oriented, organized, and a team player.
Our office is open Tuesday- Friday. We offer PTO, employee discount, and health insurance for full time employees.

Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take digital radiographs and intra oral photos
- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene education
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Oregon
- Experience with Dentrix preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene practices
