Position Description: Home Run Inn is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and hard working Sanitation Technician for a 3rd shift opening!
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be trained on the proper techniques of cleaning production equipment, machines and work areas of our food manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, chemical concentrations, and handling and storing the chemicals. The sanitation team is expected to report any potential contamination issues and any safety concerns that may arise as part of the sanitation process.
Shift Details: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 7PM 4AM am with occasional Saturday shifts or other mandatory overtime as required. Voluntary overtime opportunities may be available as well.
Responsibilities:
\tComplies with safety HACCP and GMP requirements.
\tPerform daily sanitation of all processing lines
\tCleans, sanitizes, production lines and ingredients rooms, hallways
\tAbility to lift more than 50 lbs
\tDispose of waste in common areas
\tUse Chemicals, Foam, Chlorine, quat Sanitizer, de-greaser,
\tUse a high-water pressure gun for 5-7 hours
\tUse squeeze to dry the floor and move conveyors or tables as need it.
\tMust be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipment
\tMaintain cleanliness of breakroom and test kitchen appliances
\tUse liners to cover motors, gearboxes and E-stops as need it
\tSelf-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.
\tAbility to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work
\tAbility to train, maintain and promote a safe work environment.
\tReading chemical labels or Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) tolearn how to properly handle chemicals they will be using
\tDisplay good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization
\tMust learn how to operate the scissor lift and certified
\tMust wear PPM provided by Company
\tSupports a culture of safety; follows all safety procedures. Requirements
\tMust be a self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
\tHas impeccable organizational skills and be detailed oriented
\tMust be able to stand, sit, walk, reach and stop for the duration of an 8-hour shift with applicable breaks
\tMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including off shifts and weekends.
\tMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
\tMust be able to work in variable temperatures to include freezer/cooler environments.
\tMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
\tCandidates must have a basic understanding of English to follow written and verbal instructions, complete required documentation, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
\tHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
