HOURS: The hours are: Monday or Tuesday 12 hour shift 7pm-7am, Wednesday 6 hour shift and then Thursday and Friday or Saturday Sunday 12hr shift – 7pm – 7am. Weekends required (alternating shift, switches each week.)

$23-$24 for our starting pay rate. 10+ years will be $24.

Essential Functions (Duties):

  • Performs daily inspection on lift truck.
  • Documents any issues with equipment and seeks resolution to those issues.
  • Ensures palletizing lines have needed supplies available for use.
  • Unloads, receives and documents inbound shipments.
  • Uses forklift to restock, move, store, retrieve and deliver raw materials and scrap.
  • Uses forklift to transport finished goods to trailers or staging areas.
  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Follows through and completes all work in a timely manner.
  • Communicates need for and helps maintain appropriate levels of shipping supplies.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, local and customer guidelines.
  • Works efficiently and safely within company guidelines.
  • Maintains peer relationships to share issues and ideas.
  • Communicates through the use of verbal language and hand signals.
  • Interacts with computer controls of highly automated equipment.
  • Maintains quality of product by performing periodic checks of finished cans.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
