DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Advanced diagnostic imaging, specialized clinical expertise. Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography).
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports to the department supervisor and receives general direction from the supervisor and assigned Nuclear Medicine Lead.

Perform complex clinical diagnostic examinations such as lymphoscintography, treadmill cardiac perfusion, and pharmacologic stress cardiac perfusion, and provide expertise to support nuclear medicine clinical services.

Tailors examinations to individual patient in collaboration with physician.

Under general direction, exercise advanced technical knowledge in a specific area of expertise such as clinical computer application or examination protocol development in the field of nuclear medicine, and provide work direction to others in area of expertise. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS - Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine AND two years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist IOR equivalent education/experience.- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine in the State of Washington.
