61st Street Service Corporation a leader in providing highly skilled employees that support and facilitate the delivery of world-class patient-centered care through one of the top healthcare provider networks in New York is looking for Administrative Assistant to support their Recruitment Department.
The Recruitment Administrative Assistant plays an integral role in supporting with the full cycle recruitment process for the company’s Staffing Xpress program. The Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support for company-wide recruitment efforts and will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Manager of the program, assisting with the screening and interview process and providing other support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Submittal of Requisitions upon request
- Posting of positions in ATS system / LinkedIn etc.
- Assists with resume reviews and screenings.
- Coordinate and schedule screenings and 1st interviews on behalf of the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Manage quarterly calendar for dept recruitment volunteers.
- Coordinate panel interviews meetings.
- Coordinate hiring activities for selected candidates.
- Submit finalist form to the HR onboarding team.
- Undertake clerical duties to ensure optimal communication of the program.
- Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates.
- Maintain candidate database.
- Assist with preparation of publicity/recruitment materials & PowerPoint presentations.
- Handle applicant records and paperwork: Finalist Form, NHR, Applicant interview.
- Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g., interview cancellations)
- Research for job fairs, job boards and relevant organizations to create a candidate pipeline
- Assist with completion and submission of final Candidates profiles for submittal to the team.
- Assist in arranging face-to-face or virtual interviews with Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Report to the manager on the status of the interview and selection process.
- Suggest innovative approaches towards developing better recruitment practices.
- Help develop marketing initiatives to advertise job vacancies through job sites and social media as well as in person job fairs.
- Work alongside SC Directors and TAS to ensure successful administration of Staffing Xpress
- Proctor NHA Exam
- Other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- Strong computer skills, Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Prior Experience with ATS system helpful
- Ability to manage competing demands and to exercise independent judgment is critical, as well as interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma / GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of two years’ administrative experience required.
- Prior experience with onboarding /recruitment preferred.
