ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to work with students across grades PreK-12 in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time, onsite role provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a veteran DHH teacher while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students with hearing needs.
Position Details- Location: Indianapolis, IN
- Schedule: Full-time
- Caseload: PreK-12 students
- Team: Join a collaborative environment with mentorship from an experienced DHH teacher.
- Mode: Onsite
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with hearing impairments.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to facilitate academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to ensure students meet their educational goals.
- Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring accommodations are in place and effectively utilized.
- Bachelors Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Indiana Certification in Special Education, with a focus on Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Successful student teaching experience in areas of exceptionality.
- Basic knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Experience working with students with hearing needs preferred.
- $35+ per hour (Varies depending on experience).
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
