Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing products in the warehouse. Ensure accurate stock counts and proper labeling for easy identification.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are prepared for shipment in accordance with customer requirements.
- Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload delivery trucks, check for accuracy, and verify inventory against packing lists or orders.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety procedures, organizing products, and disposing of unused materials appropriately.
- Material Handling: Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods within the warehouse as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse associates and departments to meet daily operational goals and timelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete any required paperwork and electronic records related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
