Weekend Requirement: every other
Certification Requirements: BCLS
Floating Requirements: Yes Minimum Experience Required: 3+ Years Required Unit Information: Unit is Medical Surgical, directly adjacent to the Emergency Department. Patients being held overnight for continued work up as observation patients go to this unit. Similar to a clinical decision unit. Patient Diagnoses: Medical Surgical Only; COVID, Abd pain, resp destress, and any symptom based that requires further work up.
Skillset Requirements: Required – Med/Surg; Starting IVs, Nasal Cannula. Preferred – Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, previous charge experience.
Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources. Please only submit clinicians who are okay with this
