$250,000 base pay - Director of Finance Opening

We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Finance to join our team in a key leadership role with a competitive salary of $250,000 per year. The successful candidate will oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, and ownership of private equity investments and real estate investments. Initially, this role will involve overseeing a team consisting of Corporate Controller, Corporate Controller/Treasurer, Assistant Controller, AP Manager, and AR Manager, with increasing leadership responsibilities over time. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our firm’s real estate investment funds and will have the opportunity for future advancement into the CFO role.

What we are looking for:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
2. 10+ years of relevant accounting experience within the real estate industry.
3. CPA designation preferred.
4. Experience with open-end fund reporting preferred.
5. General understanding of tax reporting and compliance for private REITs, real estate partnerships, and S corps.
