Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

The majority of your time will be spent picking and packing in the warehouse. The main duty is to help pack out job pack orders, ensuring everything is packed correctly. You will load and unload shipments for the distribution center, help load up customers, assist with job pack material, and help with UPS pack outs. In addition to operating a forklift, you will be handling boxes and moving pallets all day long.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the forklift/boom lift according to the methods and procedures described during training.
  • Safely handle pallets and load/unload customer vehicles according to branch-specific instructions and material handling methods.
  • Safely load and unload commercial and company trucks, containers, and trailers as per branch-specific instructions.
  • Pull the correct boxes for orders and transfers; stage or place the pulled boxes in the correct location; handle the associated paperwork according to branch-specific procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of prior warehouse experience.
  • Experience working in a physically demanding environment with the ability to lift 70+ lbs regularly.
  • Wire cutting experience is required.
  • Forklift operation is a significant plus.
  • A safety-oriented mindset and comfort working with forklifts or boom lifts.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions when loading trucks. The indoor warehouse is not climate-controlled but has large fans to help cool the environment. You will work with and in proximity to material handling equipment, including forklifts and cranes, as well as packaged electrical equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pflugerville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
