Warehouse - Parts Puller Job at RECHTIEN INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS INC in Fort Myers

Rechtien International Trucks is seeking dependable Parts Puller/Warehouse Clerk to join our team in our Fort Myers dealership.

Essential Duties

• Locate and retrieve items from storage areas based on customer orders or shipping requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Properly pack items for shipment or delivery, ensuring they are protected and labeled correctly.
• Use warehouse tools and equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks to move goods.
• Restock items in the warehouse as needed and ensure shelves or storage areas are properly organized.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist in counting stock, making sure the correct quantities are available.
• Document item movement within the warehouse, tracking what has been picked, packed, and shipped.
• Assist with receiving and unloading shipments, if required.
• Check in merchandise and affix labels.
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing.
• Fulfill customer orders.
• Move materials off racks and package for shipment.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Follow all safety codes.
• Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
• Record amounts of materials or items received.
• Perform facilities maintenance.
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager.
• Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
