We need assistance during planting and harvest and in preparation for both operations. We operate John Deere and Versatile farm machinery and would like an employee with some operating experience on John Deere equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, construct facilities, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, trap and destroy pests, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, soybeans. Speak and understand English.
