SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to support the Space Systems Command to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand the program and its customers. We are looking for you, a detail-oriented cybersecurity administrator to be responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security, troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures at our organization. You have a strong technical base and can identify the problem and build a hardened solution. Your help will be needed for the Space Systems Command in Colorado Springs at multiple sites.

SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to support the Space Systems Command to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand the program and its customers. We are looking for you, a detail-oriented cybersecurity administrator to be responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security, troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures at our organization. You have a strong technical base and can identify the problem and build a hardened solution. Your help will be needed for the Space Systems Command in Colorado Springs at multiple sites.
Your day to day:
- Conduct in depth technical scans on hardware, operating systems, and software to identify system vulnerabilities.
- Perform necessary system configuration tasks on Linux and some Windows machines to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Serve as the primary ISSO in a TS/SCI Special Access Program for Space System Command in Colorado Springs at multiple sites.
- Install, configure and maintain cybersecurity tools, including Trellix, HBSS, ACAS, and Solarwinds.
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks to create a more secure and hardened ecosystem for software and systems.
- Maintain excellent documentation of all technical material.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve mission objectives.
This is you:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 9 or more years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance or equivalent with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification required for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 compliance. - 5 or more years of cybersecurity experience.
- Experience building hardened solutions for systems and software from the ground up.
- Strong experience with Linux based operating systems.
- Experience working with SCAPs, STIGs, ACAS, Nessus, etc.
- Experience writing basic scripts in languages like Python, Powershell, or Bash.
- Experience using tools to scan source code such as Fortify.
- Experience working with Networking tools like Cisco products.
- Experience working with Virtualization tools like VMware, VirtualBox, or various hypervisors.
