Flag Solutions is hiring: Forklift Operator in Torrance

Job Purpose: As a Forklift Operator your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely operate a forklift to assist in material handling and logistical operations within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to safely transport materials and products throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles with materials and finished goods.
• Stack and organize materials and products in designated storage areas.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately recording material movements and maintaining inventory records.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products to production lines.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate material handling activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proficient in safe forklift operation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely and effectively in confined spaces and around other equipment and personnel.
