A behavioral health facility in Connecticut is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults. This is a locum tenens opportunity ideal for a professional seeking a long-term assignment. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 40 per week Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Patient Population: Adults Patient Volume: 10 to 12 patients daily Responsibilities: The Psychiatrist will be responsible for: Providing psychiatric care to adult inpatients Managing a caseload of 10-12 patients daily Diagnosing and treating psychiatric illnesses Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care Maintaining compliance with regulatory and facility standards Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry Valid Connecticut medical license Proficiency in managing complex patient needs Strong clinical and communication skills Desired Skills: Suboxone certification Experience with Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Care Familiarity with Substance Use Treatment Effective collaboration and teamwork skills
