Job Summary:

The HR and Payroll Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, as well as managing the payroll function. This role ensures the company’s HR and payroll operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic HR Leadership:

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

· Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.

· Lead organizational development and change management initiatives.

· Payroll Management:

· Oversee the payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

· Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes.

· Employee Relations:

· Foster a positive environment.

· Address employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and employees.

· Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.

· Talent Management:

· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs.

· Implement performance management systems and processes.

· Develop succession planning strategies.

· Compliance and Risk Management:

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

· Manage HR audits and ensure the integrity of HR data.

· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

· Oversee worker’s compensation reporting and claim management.

· Compensation and Benefits:

· Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.

· Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices.

· Manage employee benefits programs and vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

· Prior HR experience.

· Strong knowledge of HR and payroll laws and regulations.

· Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

· Full-time position.

· Hybrid position – some remote work with occasional travel and office environment once available.
