Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating engaging, accessible, and high-performing user experiences aligned with business goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the UX approach at a fast-growing startup with clients across the public and private sectors. We’re looking for someone who understands the balance between user insights and business objectives and is committed to designing products that solve real user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer-Centric UX Strategy & Vision:

  • Establish and execute a UX vision that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and incorporates customer development principles, focusing on discovering and validating real user problems and product-market fit.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement a UX strategy that embeds a user-centered approach throughout the product lifecycle.

Customer Discovery & Research:

  • Lead user research to support customer discovery, conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights, developing personas, journey maps, and use cases to inform product direction and ensure core user problems are validated.

User Experience & Interface Design:

  • Design intuitive, accessible user interfaces that enhance engagement and solve validated user problems.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes, iterating based on user feedback and evolving product requirements.

Rapid Prototyping & Iterative Development:

  • Develop and test rapid prototypes to validate design concepts, adapting quickly to user feedback and product changes.
  • Utilize agile and lean UX methodologies, supporting fast iteration in a dynamic environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product management to refine user experiences that drive adoption and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure visual consistency and effective user flows that support brand messaging.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in UX design, with experience across the full UX stack, including user research, information architecture, and visual design.
  • Strong skills in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and in creating both low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Proven experience in conducting user interviews, usability testing, and research that informs product development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth startup environments.
  • Familiarity with customer-centered design principles, with demonstrated success in designing products that meet market demands.
  • Ability to work with agile and lean UX methodologies, focusing on rapid iteration.
