Job Description
- Data analysis and reporting: A HR analyst is responsible for collecting and analysing employee data to identify trends, forecast needs, and measure the effectiveness of HR policies and initiatives.
- Performance management: They assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, ensuring they are fair, consistent, and aligned with organisational goals.
- Benefits administration: HR analysts help design and administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs, ensuring they meet employee needs and comply with legal requirements.
- Recruitment and hiring: They support the recruitment process by developing job descriptions, screening candidates, and analysing recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes.
- Employee relations: HR analysts may also be involved in resolving workplace conflicts, conducting employee satisfaction surveys, and working with management to address employee concerns.
- Training and development: They play a key role in identifying training needs and designing training programs to enhance employee skills and promote career development within the organisation
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: Possess a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees or HR certifications are preferred.
- HR experience: Experience in human resources, with a strong background in HR analytics or a related area.
- Analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Technical proficiency: Proficient in HRIS, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication abilities, capable of effectively presenting data insights and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Legal compliance: Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring all HR practices adhere to legal standards.
