Job Description Summary:
Under direct supervision, assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
May help improve production methods, determine manufacturing capacity, and set up production schedules.
Assists with the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and no prior experience.
Job Description:
Build of manufacturing models for part process definition in fabrication planning of drive metallic, airframe metallic, rotors metallic and rotor composite components per a baseline provided plan including all necessary dimensional references using Bell standards
Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawings exist as required.
Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs.
Working knowledge of Tooling, Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
Supports producibility assessments when requested
Maintains records and schedules of work assigned.
Will meet established company cost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain market
Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to communicate and interact between internal and external customers.
Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct, instruct, mentor and check/validate Production Engineering work.
Required to attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by management to remain current with technological advancements.
Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.
Qualifications:
5+ Years Aerospace Manufacturing Planning experience is required
Four (4) years college with degree in engineering
Experience with CAD (CATIA is preferred)
