Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
- Analyze ultrasound images to identify abnormalities or potential pathologies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate image interpretation and patient care.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risk to patients and staff.
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care standards.
