Data Analytics

  • Conduct analysis, interpret data and offer action-driven recommendations and insights to executive leaders and managers on the basis of results.
  • Partner with teams across the bank to determine data needs and design dashboards and reports that are concise and actionable
  • Understand demographics and banking segments to provide support in the development of strategy including business unit and customer profitability.
  • Make recommendations to management around process improvements and systems enhancements resulting from sound analysis of business process, data flow and other process transformation mediums.
  • Develop and apply statistical methods and experimentation to analyze the effect of pricing and sales decisions on business performance to support the Bank's customer acquisition, cross-sell, and retention efforts.
  • Assist in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) bank-wide to be used by management to track trends and realign strategic priorities on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepare management and board reports that reconcile business activity to the Bank's financials.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to drive action and ensure accuracy and validity of each data source.
  • Mentor and train employees with regards to data visualization and predictive and forecasting tools.
  • Maintain, support, update and create Business Intelligence dashboards.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, information science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:
  • Expert with data analytics
  • Knowledgeable in how to build and use several data analytic tools
  • Skilled in updating various databases
  • Exceptional analytical and logic skills
Preferred
  • Knowledge of MCIF database system management
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of report writing using Microsoft Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and methodology
  • Advanced skill level in Excel
  • Strong understanding of retail banking business financial drivers.


Physical Requirements:

Office Worker: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Compensation:

The hiring range for this position is $80,815 to 121,000 per year. The salary offered will fall within this range commensurate with the candidate's applicable experience, education, and skills.
