Position Overview:
As a Senior Recruiter at CONMED, you'll be responsible for attracting talented candidates for a variety of corporate positions, including but not limited to IT, Legal, Human Resources, and Finance. These roles will primarily focus on leadership and high-level positions across our business, ranging from individual contributors to executive-level roles, and include project-based hiring initiatives. This is a 100% remote based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruiting process from requisition approval to candidate onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate disposition of candidates.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders across our teams, owning the full recruiting cycle for leadership hiring.
- Work closely with our hiring managers and Inclusion Recruiting teams to build diverse pipelines of talented senior leadership candidates for CONMED.
- Utilize various databases and LinkedIn using Boolean search techniques to pitch passive candidates on exciting and impactful career opportunities at CONMED.
- Create effective, creative advertising and outreach strategies to reach target candidate audiences, including diverse candidates. Build pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Troubleshoot, cold call, brainstorm, and problem-solve as needed to fill challenging positions.
- Persuasively communicate in writing and over the phone with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners. Ensure organized, accurate, and effective communication throughout the recruiting process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to identify essential job qualifications and talents, develop sourcing strategies, and assess candidates. Influence and coach managers on identifying and securing the best talent for their teams. Educate and develop managers' skills in equitable and valid hiring practices.
- Maintain compliance throughout the recruiting and hiring process with all applicable policies, procedures, and laws.
- Assist in interpreting and administering company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Advise and counsel others on equitable application.
- Plan, evaluate, research, and recommend systematic or process improvements in the recruiting function.
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks, including scheduling candidate interviews, administering background checks and drug screens, and coordinating with our relocation company to ensure excellent service for candidates.
- Engage in stretch assignments throughout the year to drive excellence in the organization.
- Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure quality of hire metrics are met.

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience.
- Proven success in recruiting Vice President level and above executive roles.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Experience recruiting in technical areas such as IT, Finance, or similar fields.
- Experience focused on Executive-level search and hiring
This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range is 72,000-115,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting
