Synchrony Pharmacy, a subsidiary of Trilogy Health Services LLC, is seeking a Accounting Manager for the Pharmacy division.

Qualifications:

Job Summary

Manages accounting processes and ensures accurate and timely completion of month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and financial reporting. Manages the preparation, compilation and analysis of the Companys financial records and statistical reports. Establishes and maintains internal controls and guidelines in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, a motivated self-starter and solution-oriented problem solver.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manages a team of Staff Accountants providing coaching, support and oversight.

Prepares, inputs and reviews journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.

Responsible for maintaining the Companys monthly inventory analysis including calculating cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, adjusting for purchases, returns, and obsolescence.

Works closely with the Companys revenue cycle team regarding revenue recognition on a GAAP basis.

Identifies and pursues efficiencies through process enhancements or automated solutions.

Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts monthly and maintains appropriate support documentation, where applicable.

Generates, distributes and accurately explains monthly financial reports to operations, various support functions and leadership team.

Effectively communicates with others (written and verbal) throughout the organization and management.

Generates ad-hoc reports and assists leadership with interpretation and analysis of trends and variances.

Collaborates with other members of the accounting team to provide solution-oriented recommendations for the Finance Organization and Business at large.

Prepares audit schedules and other reports for external auditors.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree

Experience: 5-8 years

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Public Accounting (CPA) preferred

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
