MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years experience in a clerical, secretarial or administrative assistant position
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential functions and tasks which may include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force as frequently as necessary; lifting, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing, if required
- Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening
- Demonstrated skill in using office equipment (i.e., copiers, phones, calculators, computers, FAX machines).
- Basic knowledge of appropriate office practices and procedures.
- Secretary to Guidance Counselors.
- Greets incoming public, teachers, and students in guidance office.
- Answers incoming calls.
- Assists with student registration.
- Schedules parent/teacher conferences.
- Backup for Front Desk Secretary.
- Backup for Data Operator.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the Principal and Assistant Principal.
