This position may be eligible for a hybrid telework option (up to 3 days telework), in accordance with the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency (BCSH) Telework Policy. This position will be required to report to the Sacramento Headquarters Office as needed/required based on the operational needs of the Agency. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the general direction of the of the Deputy Secretary, Fiscal Policy and Administration, at the BCSH, the Staff Services Manager III functions as key advisor and resource to BCSH and the eleven-member departments on all fiscal functions (budget and accounting, including components of Fi$Cal).

The BCSH comprised of the following entities: Department of Consumer Affairs, Department of Financial Protection and Innovation; California Civil Rights Department; Department of Cannabis Control; Department of Housing and Community Development; California Housing Finance Agency; Department of Real Estate; Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control; Alcoholic Beverage Control Appeals Board; Cannabis Control Appeals Panel; and the California Horse Racing Board.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.

Statement of Qualifications
